Job summary

LANXESS is seeking personnel for a DBS unit operator role at the El Dorado site. The role involves supporting diverse projects to ensure safe and efficient operations while adhering to safety and environmental policies.

You will participate in cross-training across tools and processes, maintain housekeeping standards, and follow SOPs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with flexibility for 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously.
• Must be a team player with good communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills are required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts and overtime as needed.
• Operations experience is a plus; may require Fire Brigade membership.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic tool use; forklift experience is helpful.
• Participation in plant safety programs is expected.

Job Highlights

Experience / Skills

• High School Diploma
• Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously
• Must be a team player

• Must be able to work a twelve-hour rotating day/night shift and overtime as needed
• Previous experience in operations is a plus
• May require membership in Fire Brigade
• Mechanical aptitude (working with pipe wrenches and tools needed for plant activities and minor maintenance
• Experience in operating a forklift or ability to learn
• Participation in plant safety programs
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Must have good communication skills
