Job summary

Franke LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor in all warehouse activities. You will help with receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping, ensuring inventory accuracy and smooth operations.

The role requires HS Diploma or GED, about 2 years of experience, and forklift certification as needed. Strong computer and math skills, plus proficiency with MS Word/Excel and related systems, are valued. On-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications.
  • Understanding of production processes, quality control and distribution.
  • Awareness of safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to read simple instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Basic math skills for rates, ratios and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense in standard tasks.
  • Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, PBS and ADP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Indirectly leads functional aspects of the Warehouse to include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, quality control, and shipping of products.
  • Coordinate with departments to meet customer requests and needs.
  • Assist in executing strategic plans for warehouse operations.
  • Print and sort pick tickets for distribution to Material Handlers.
  • Pull, process, and review daily reports as necessary.
  • Supervise inbound shipments to ensure accurate receipts and stocking.
  • Supervise outbound shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Balance delivery/processing schedules to maintain just-in-time inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels throughout the warehouse.
  • Implement standards, policies, and procedures in the Warehouse.
  • Assist Material Handlers with questions and issues.
  • Allocate Material Handlers among departments.
  • Perform all functions of the Material Handler as needed.
  • Maintain reliable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY Assist Warehouse Manager and Supervisor in all Warehouse activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Indirectly leads functional aspects of the Warehouse to include but not limited to receiving, stocking, picking, packing, quality control, and shipping of products
  • Coordinating and assisting with the appropriate department(s) and/or person(s) to ensure customer requests and/or needs are met
  • Assisting in the execution of strategic plans
  • Printing and sorting pick tickets for distribution to Material Handlers
  • Pulling, processing, and/or reviewing daily reports as necessary
  • Supervising the delivery of in-bound shipments to ensure accurate receipts and stocking
  • Supervising the delivery of out-bound shipments to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Balancing delivery/processing schedule(s) to ensure just-in-time inventory
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels throughout the warehouse
  • Implementing standards, policies, and procedures in the Warehouse that align with department and corporate goals
  • Assisting the Material Handlers with all questions and/or issues
  • Allocating Material Handlers amongst all departments
  • Performing all functions and responsibilities included in Material Handler job description
  • Reliable attendance is a must
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Basic Reasoning Skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
