Job summary

Performance Health is seeking an Operations Team Lead to oversee daily activities across multiple teams within the distribution center. This role emphasizes leadership, performance management, and problem-solving to support efficient shipping, receiving, inventory, and overall DC operations.

You will provide direction, training, and support to frontline staff, monitor system performance, promote safety and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume distribution or logistics environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of logistics management software preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, variable environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and meet performance standards in shipping, receiving, inventory, and other critical functions
  • Actively promote safety and compliance with all regulatory standards, including GDP, GMP, and HazMat
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to housekeeping and safety standards
  • Proactively manage daily tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and reliability
  • Perform other duties assigned to support overall distribution center operations
