Job summary

Carriage Services is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to provide operational and technical support to funeral home and cemetery staff across the company. You will troubleshoot system issues, deliver training, and help maintain process documentation to ensure consistency.

This role involves collaborating with Operations, Accounting, IT and other departments, creating user guides, and generating reports while upholding regulatory requirements across contracts in the funeral and cemetery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn multiple business systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical support for company business systems.
• Troubleshoot system and process issues and escalate when appropriate.
• Assist employees with questions on business processes, policies, and system functionality.
• Create and maintain user guides, reference materials, and process documentation.
• Deliver training on business systems and operational procedures.
• Support system enhancements, projects, and new business implementations.
• Assist with integration and system support for newly acquired locations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Accounting, IT, and Programming to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with funeral and cemetery regulations and related requirements.
• Generate reports and analyze information for process improvement.
• Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
