Job summary

Continuum Resource Network is seeking a Readiness and Response Operator 1 to support autonomous vehicle testing. You will inspect, verify systems, clean sensors, charge vehicles, and ensure each unit meets engineering standards before road tests.

The role also covers fleet logistics, moving equipment between sites, supporting recovery events, and helping launch new test locations. Candidates should be safety‑minded, detail‑driven, and adaptable.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in automotive, aviation, logistics, or fleet operations.
• Hands-on vehicle maintenance/inspections experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow complex procedures.
• Comfort using laptops, mobile devices, and status-tracking software.
• Strong safety mindset and protocol adherence.
• Adaptable team player balancing multiple tasks.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors.

Job description

Readiness and Response Operator 1 - RRT1

• Miami. FL (ONSITE)
• Contract (W2 ongoing)
• $25/hr pay rate + shift differentials and benefits
  

As a Readiness & Response Operator 1 (RR1), you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and testing of autonomous vehicles by ensuring the test fleet is safe, prepared, and ready for engineering operations. This is a hands-on role focused on vehicle readiness, logistics, and operational support. Your day will include preparing vehicles for testing through detailed inspections, software and hardware verification, sensor cleaning, charging, and ensuring each vehicle meets strict engineering standards before going on the road.

You’ll also support fleet logistics by moving vehicles and equipment between locations, assisting with recovery events, managing supplies, and helping launch new test sites as needed. This role requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can follow detailed processes, and is comfortable balancing physical vehicle work with technical tasks. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, adaptable, and excited to contribute to the development of autonomous vehicle technology.

raining Schedule (first 8 weeks)

• AM Shift Start Times: Mon - Fri, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• PM Shift Start Times: Mon - Fri, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM
  

Official Schedules (after training) - Weekends required

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  

Qualifications:

• 2-4+ years of experience in automotive, aviation, logistics, fleet operations, field service, or other fast-paced operational environments
• Hands-on experience with vehicles, equipment maintenance, inspections, or technical operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex procedures and maintain high-quality standards
• Comfortable using technology, including laptops, mobile devices, and software tools to track vehicle status and report issues
• Strong safety mindset with the ability to consistently follow protocols and procedures
• Adaptable team player who can shift priorities between vehicle preparation, logistics, and operational support
• Able to work in both indoor and outdoor settings
