Job summary

Aceolution is seeking a Depot Operator Specialist to oversee upkeep and maintenance of autonomous vehicles for the project. You will download software updates, set up vehicle computers for the Driver team, ensure cleanliness, monitor vehicle charge, and support real-world technical applications.

You will be on your feet most of the day and develop critical knowledge of the autonomous vehicle systems while working hands-on with the hardware and software in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to operate a laptop and use cloud apps.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 adjusted WPM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Install equipment and ensure successful startup.
  • Document activities and meet schedules.
  • Assist with vehicle adjustments, charge monitoring, and parking lot maneuvers.
  • Disinfect vehicles and workstations; prepare sanitization kits.
  • Maintain high safety standards inside and outside vehicles.
  • Work independently or in small groups to support vehicle launch and prep.
  • Communicate uploading errors and prioritize high-priority uploads.
  • Package and ship equipment needing repair; assist with asset inventory.
  • Ensure shift efficiency and perform basic troubleshooting at shift startup.
  • Follow startup and shift-end checklists.

Job description

As a Depot Operator Specialist, you will be responsible for the upkeep and general maintenance of autonomous vehicles for the project. You will download software updates, ensure the vehicle computers are set up for the Driver team, ensure vehicle cleanliness, monitor vehicle charge, etc. You will be on your feet for most of the day, and here you will develop critical knowledge of the autonomous vehicle's computer systems and technologies as you work first-hand with them in real-world technical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install equipment and ensure successful startup
  • Complete tasks promptly while adhering to schedules and documenting activities
  • Assist with vehicle adjustments, charge monitoring, and parking lot maneuvers
  • Disinfect vehicles and workstations, preparing sanitization kits
  • Maintain high safety standards both inside and outside the vehicle
  • Work independently or in small groups, supporting vehicle launch and preparation
  • Communicate any uploading errors and prioritize high-priority uploads
  • Package and ship equipment requiring repair
  • Assist with asset inventory and checkout process
  • Ensure shift efficiency and perform basic troubleshooting at shift startup
  • Follow startup and shift-end checklists diligently
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid United States driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Must have open availability (this project is a 24/7 operation)
  • Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficiency with laptop computers and GSuite apps
  • Proficiency with touchscreen smartphones (android preferred)
  • Typing speed of at least 40 adjusted words per minute
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and processes quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and good judgement in fast-paced environments
Physical Demand:
  • Must be able to walk for extended lengths of time
  • Must be able to crouch, stoop, bend, and kneel
  • Must be able to move objects up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to push/pull
  • Must be able to switch between standing and sitting
  • Conditions will be both inside and outside
