Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a qualified individual to perform equipment set-up, maintenance, repair, and delivery support for the location. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One plus years of mechanical, maintenance, agricultural equipment, automotive, diesel, small engine, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and dust.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with growers and customers in the field is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of farm, construction, or industrial equipment is preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery, set-up, and retrieval of fertilizer application equipment including nurse tanks, ball tanks, dry spreaders, and belt loaders.
• Support customers and field operations by delivering equipment, spreaders, and related materials using company vehicles, including pickup trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and small engines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on fertilizer application and support equipment.
• Assist with welding, fabrication, and general shop maintenance projects as needed.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently while following company safety procedures.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop, warehouse, and work environment.
• Assist with special projects, seasonal operational needs, and other duties as assigned.
