Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring an Operations Support Coordinator to coordinate all incoming and outgoing trucks and ensure proper documentation is prepared. You will be the primary point of contact for drivers and carriers, waving orders and handling returns as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and at least 6 months in a customer service or clerical role. Experience with WMS and MS Office is valued.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Six (6) months of customer service, client-facing, or clerical experience.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
  • Experience working in a warehouse or light industrial setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with carrier dispatch and clients’ drivers verbally and in writing with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Schedule inbound and outbound shipments through TMS and communicate truck schedule.
  • Manage Bills of Lading (BOLs).
  • Act as liaison between drivers and Saddle Creek personnel on shipment issues.
  • Research and offer solutions for driver-based issues or questions.
  • Assist warehouse leads and operations teams; generate and retain required reporting.
  • Wave orders, document returns and exchanges; generate receipts and shipping documents.
  • Check in carriers for appointments; verify receiving quality and timeliness.

This position will coordinate all incoming and outgoing trucks and ensure the proper documentation is prepared. Operations Coordinator will act as the primary point of contact for drivers and carriers.
