Job description

Operations Support Associate (Remote - Medical Data Entry)

Remote, United States

About Pair Team

Pair Team is on a mission to improve the wellbeing of underserved communities by connecting them to high-quality care.

We care for the highest-need Medicaid recipients through a community-led model. We build local partnerships with shelters, food pantries, and other community-based organizations to turn them into a site of care. As a support system for the community, we provide wraparound clinical services, up-skill CBO staff to become Community Health Workers, and utilize our proprietary data-driven technology platform, Arc, for care coordination. Through Medicaid MCOs, we provide healthcare for hard-to-reach, high-need individuals, while sharing healthcare dollars with community groups to expand their social support programs.

Our Values
  • Lead with integrity: We keep our commitments and take responsibility for our actions.
  • Embrace challenges: We leave our egos at the door and step forward into discomfort instead of back into safety.
  • Break through walls: We go the extra mile for our patients, partners and one another.
  • Act beyond yourself: We build each other up and respect boundaries.
  • Care comes first: We hold ourselves to the highest standards for our patients.

We are looking for a highly motivated full-time Ops Support Associate who is willing to think creatively and operationally to help our team change the way people access healthcare. As the Ops Support Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our Care Operations team is set up to support our patients. You will own completing our backend operational support processes, ensuring patient ECM and CHW program authorization and continued enrollment, all while creating a foundation of process efficiency and improvement.

This role is 100% remote; however, candidates must be based in the United States and are required to work PST hours.

What You’ll Do
  • Proactively monitor and report on key operational support processes and metrics.
  • Support a team of documentation analysts by troubleshooting and monitoring project progress.
  • Complete and monitor ECM and CHW program authorizations and annual reauthorizations.
  • Work with partnered health plans to understand program denials and flag any enrollment issues.
  • Provide backend support for transitions of care and referrals.
  • Provide clear, timely communication to our care team regarding enrollment changes or status updates.
  • Support Care Operations leaders in optimizing key standard processes.
What You’ll Need
  • 1+ years of backend operations experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Confidence to own your role and propose solutions.
  • A results driven attitude with a proven track record of exceeding performance indicators.
  • Strong technical skills and comfort with utilizing multiple technology platforms.
  • Excellent proficiency with technology, like GoogleSuite applications, Slack, and Looker.
  • Requires a quiet, HIPAA compliant and internet connected space.
  • Dedicated to supporting and improving care for underserved populations.

Pair Team is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We value diversity and strive to provide an inclusive environment for all applicants and employees.
