The Operations Supervisor will be responsible to support leadership of two departments within the shift for 30+ hourly employees. Shift hours would be 6:00pm - 6:30am Friday night through Monday morning. Role would require some training on 1st shift prior to starting on the assigned shift.
Providing direction to employees. Leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts. Perform daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication, and execution with support group members. Establish work schedules and monthly delivery plans considering resource availability that align with customer needs and satisfy financial obligations. Provide leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes. Achieve target performance levels through disciplined execution of the Standard Production System (SPS) including but not limited to: Tiered accountability Visual management system(s) Leader Standard Work Demonstrate clear focus on accountability to daily results, rapid identification of root cause and effective implementation of corrective actions Drive development of a strong problem-solving culture, through application of tools Champion sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system’s various elements Communicate to peers requirements at supporting process to ensure smooth process flow. Hold employees accountable while maintaining a key working relationship. Drive World-class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly. Control quality, productivity, and process flow to meet MRP requirements while ensuring a high level of customer happiness.
A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of leadership experience in an operations or manufacturing setting required. U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
