Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking an Operations Supervisor to ensure safety and compliance across plants, vehicles, and personnel. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience, plus a Class B CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements.

You will oversee training, inspections, and safety programs while coordinating with logistics and fleet teams. The position emphasizes risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or related field.
• At least three years of work-related experience; propane experience preferred.
• Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Working knowledge of DOT guidelines and regulations.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to implement and manage compliance requirements.
• Ability to plan in detail and communicate the plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational/safety checklists and address deficiencies.
• Monitor safety training and supervise yard and plant facilities.
• Analyze risk and trends to proactively resolve issues.
• Oversee inspections for hoses, cargo tanks, and hazmat training.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and company policy.
