Ferrellgas is seeking an EHS Compliance Coordinator to support Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across field operations in a fully remote role. The position emphasizes accurate safety documentation, data entry, and timely reporting to leadership.

A high school diploma is required, with 2+ years in propane safety/compliance preferred, and proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in propane operations, safety, compliance, transportation, or a related operational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support and coordination for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across field operations to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Administers and maintains administration of the EHS management system by entering, maintaining, and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares, formats, maintains, and distributes EHS materials and resources for field personnel.
• Assists with reporting and data analysis by generating routine and ad hoc reports, identifying trends, and providing information to support leadership decision‑making.
• Coordinates with teams to support timely completion of safety initiatives, compliance activities, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Reviews Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) for all new hire candidates and evaluates Safety Performance History reports for prior DOT‑regulated employment; communicates findings and recommendations to Field Management.
• Manages ongoing compliance for DOT‑regulated employees, including MVR reviews, medical certification tracking, and timely follow‑up on expirations or issues.
• Maintains confidential employee and safety records while ensuring the integrity and security of sensitive information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
