Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in Batesville, MS seeks an experienced manufacturing supervisor to lead team members, manage schedules and drive lean improvements across the cells. You will hire and coach staff, review performance, and ensure timely timesheets and workflow alignment with customer demand.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and experience with ERP/WMS systems. You will contribute to safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining daily production

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Effective leadership and coaching of direct employees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated Lean execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of assigned team members; participate in hiring and performance management processes, including writing performance reviews.
• Review and approve timesheets and execute schedules to maximize customer service levels.
• Direct workflow and assign work to staff based on schedule and demand.
• Oversee the product assembly process and ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.
• Manage temporary workforce including staffing agency interactions and assessments.
• Drive lean/workplace organization improvements and coach for sustained gains.
• Meet key metric objectives as assigned.
• Enhance team engagement to support a lean culture.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Effectively supervise the team members, processes and systems of the manufacturing cells.

What will you be doing?

1. Provide day-to-day supervision of assigned team members; participate in hiring and performance management processes, including writing of performance reviews. Review and approve timesheets.
2. Execute schedules in areas of accountability to maximize customer service levels.
3. Direct workflow and assign work to Nott and temporary agency employees based on schedule and customer demand.
4. Oversee the product assembly process to ensure team members compliance to all process and quality procedures and standards. Provide input into the creation of procedures.
5. Manage temporary workforce including placing order with staffing agencies, and assessing performance and providing recommendations to operations manager for staffing levels.
6. Drive lean/workplace organization improvement activities and coach employees to sustain improvements.
7. Meet key metric objectives as assigned.
8. Drive team member engagement that supports a lean culture.
9. Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
10. Other duties as assigned.
