Fort De Soto Hospitality seeks a part-time Location Supervisor to lead guest services at the Fort De Soto park location. This role oversees daily operations, assists in accounting tasks, and helps hire and train staff to deliver superior guest experiences.

You will coordinate retail and amenities like kayak and bike rentals, cafe services, and event activities while ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction in a beachside environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years of supervisory experience required; Club/Resort/National Park experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete location accounting functions including revenue reconciliation, bank deposit preparation, petty cash management, and invoice processing.
• Coach and develop all staff to ensure understanding of job expectations and performance.
• Actively participate in management meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Develop and implement ways to meet the needs of diverse customers and drive engagement at location events.
• Address guest issues and advise the General Manager on corrective actions.
• Walk the property to identify improvements and interact with customers professionally.
• Support and understand the company’s management systems, policies, goals and initiatives.

Fort De Soto Hospitality operates a variety of concessions and rentals witin the park, located in Pinellas County. We're looking for an entergetic Location Supervisor that will play a vital role in leading team memebers to provide top notch experiences to guests. From kayak and bike rentals, snacks, beach supplies and souvenirs, we are the premium park vendor for guests! The beachy atmosphere promotes a fun and ideal workspace immersed in the natural beauty of the park and surrounding waters!

This is a Part Time position

Summary of Position:

The Location Supervisor will report to the General Manager and is responsible for assiting in business operations, guest satisfaction and other priorities including accounts payables/receivables, revenue collection/auditing, interviewing, hiring and training. Additional management of various functions may include retail, café, kayak and bike rentals and other guest amenities.

Responsibilities:

• Complete location accounting functions including revenue reconciliation, bank deposit preparation, petty cash management, and invoice processing;
• Coach and develop all staff to ensure an understanding of job expectations and perform accordingly;
• Actively participate in company management team meetings contributing to a positive team environment;
• Develop new and innovative ways to meet, and respond to, the needs and demands of the diverse customer base including stimulating activities and participation in location events;
• Address guest issues and consult/advise the General Manager about appropriate corrective action;
• Regularly walk the property and check for areas of improvement; interact with customers in a congenial and positive manner;
• Support and understand the company’s management systems, policies, goals and initiatives.

Position Requirements

• Possess ability to interact positively with management, coworkers, customers, vendors/suppliers, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach;
• Ability to seek out new and innovative ways to meet and respond to the needs and demands of diverse customer base;

• Proficient in internet applications with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Education and Experience:

• Education: High School Diploma required
• Experience:; Two (2) years supervisory experience required; Club/Resort/National Park experience preferred
