Job summary

Fort De Soto Hospitality in Pinellas County operates concessions and rentals at the park and seeks energetic team members to help guests enjoy their visit. You will assist guests with bike or kayak rentals, greet customers, and answer park-related inquiries.

You will process payments at the point of sale, ensure rental equipment is in good condition, and keep the retail or rental area clean and organized. The role requires being on your feet, strong communication, and flexibility to work day,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Two years retail/rental experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and people skills.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts.
• Able to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Fort De Soto Hospitality operates a variety of concessions and rentals in the park, located in Pinellas County. We're looking for energetic team members that will play a vital role in providing guests an enjoyable experience while visiting the park. From kayak and bike rentals, snacks, beach supplies and souvenirs, we are the premium park vendor. The beachy atmosphere promotes a fun and ideal workspace immersed in the natural beauty of the park and surrounding waters.

Position Requirements:

• Majority of shift will be spent on feet, up to 8 hours per day
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Position involves frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: Two (2) years retail/rental experience preferred
