Saks is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Night Shift at our East Coast Distribution Center in Pittston, PA. The role focuses on leading daily operations, guiding a team, and driving safety and performance.

You will manage inbound/outbound, inventory, and quality initiatives while partnering with leaders to meet targets and uphold standards. This is a full-time, on-site position with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation or Inventory management.
• Knowledge of automated order fulfillment systems.
• Knowledge of WMS, quality and productivity measurements and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team to meet operational and productivity goals while fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
• Conduct daily shift meetings and manage staffing and scheduling to meet business needs.
• Prioritize safety initiatives and conduct regular safety meetings to promote a safety culture.
• Oversee area operations including productivity, inventory management, order fulfillment and quality assurance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Generate and analyze reports on operational performance for senior management.
• Track attendance and timekeeping daily, and work assigned shift hours as needed.

YOU WILL BE:

• The primary responsibility of the Operations Supervisor position at our East Coast Distribution Center (Pittston, PA) is to support leadership and the operational direction for departments within the distribution center to include Inbound, Outbound, Quality or Returns as well as other areas as needed. This position will support the productivity and performance accuracy of these areas of the operation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Support in leading and developing a team of employees to achieve operational and productivity goals while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
• Conduct daily shift meetings and support workforce staffing and scheduling to meet operational business needs
• Prioritize and champion safety initiatives and protocols to ensure a safe work environment by conducting regular safety meetings and promoting a culture of safety awareness
• Support all aspects of area operations including productivity, inventory management, order fulfillment and quality assurance
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement; develop and execute action plans to address areas of concern and meet performance targets
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Generate and analyze reports on operational performance and present findings to senior management
• Track attendance and timekeeping on a daily basis
• Able to work the assigned shift and extra time as per business needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• 3+ years of qualitative/quantitative experience in management in a similar role in Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation, or Inventory Management.
• Knowledge and experience working with automated order fulfillment systems.
• Knowledge of WMS systems, quality and productivity measurements and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to articulate your position and achieve buy in.
• Solid organizational and inter-personal skills with the ability to foster productive relationships at every level.
• Creative problem-solving ability and multi-tasking competing priorities.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to overcome obstacles and deliver results.
• Must have understanding of English language both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate understanding of English during the interview process.

Salary and Other Benefits :

• The starting salary for this position is between $57,000 - $60,000 annually . Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
