Job summary

RTX, based in Asheville, is seeking a dedicated supervisor for the Hole Drill unit. This onsite role leads daily production, coordinates scheduling, and reinforces safety, quality, and cost objectives to meet customer requirements.

RTX emphasizes continuous improvement and teamwork across functions to deliver reliable aerospace propulsion components. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, at least two years in manufacturing, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing/operations experience.
• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in an operations or manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to employees.
• Leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication, and execution with support group members.
• Establish work schedules and monthly delivery plans considering resource availability that align with customer needs and satisfy financial obligations.
• Provide leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes.
• Achieve target performance levels through disciplined execution of the Standard Production System (SPS) including but not limited to: Tiered accountability, Visual management systems and Leader Standard Work.
• Demonstrate clear focus on accountability to daily results, rapid identification of root cause and effective implementation of corrective actions.
• Drive development of a strong problem-solving culture, through application of tools.
• Champion sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system's various elements.
• Control quality, productivity, and process flow to meet MRP requirements while ensuring a high level of customer happiness.

What You Will Do :

This is a AWW shift position working 3 x 12 Friday - Sunday 6am-6:30pm in the Hole Drill business unit.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
