Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse operations management experience.
• Minimum 1 year of cold storage experience.
• Must have experience working in production based/fast paced environment.
• Warehouse performance management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews inbound appointment log and open order report daily to plan work activities.
• Plans inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determines staffing needs and schedules staff accordingly.
• Assigns workers to duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Reviews and updates operational procedures and ensures communication to warehouse staff.
• Tracks productivity and measures performance by individual and department.
• Maintains highest level of inventory accuracy with Inventory Control.
• Manages payroll of department.
• Trains and counsels staff on handling, storage, and shipping of items.
• Traces discrepancies between inventory and stock records and recommends remedial actions.
• Issues written and oral instructions and enforces safety procedures.
• Maintains harmony and resolves grievances among workers.
