Job summary

Colonial Pipeline Company is seeking an Operations Supervisor to coordinate all activities within the Operating Area, ensuring safe, efficient operation of facilities and timely delivery to customers. The role focuses on safety, system integrity, and operational excellence by leading and guiding employee performance to policy and program adherence.

You will support local operations, manage budgets, and drive improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Ideally 5 years of pipeline operations experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lead across functions and influence others.
• Maintain adherence to policies and Colonial values (Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, Excellence).

Responsibilities

• Build a productive, team-oriented environment and lead by example.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members.
• Communicate performance expectations and provide coaching feedback.
• Develop and sustain a well-trained, effective work team.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across functions.
• Coordinate work schedules, time off, approvals, and daily tasks for Operators.
• Support local improvement initiatives and assist in operational tasks.
• Oversee budgets and manage expenses; prepare proposals for local leadership.
• Ensure compliance through internal audits and adherence to regulations.
