Job summary

Ingram Micro in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to administer and operate our warehouses, handling processing, packaging and storage of supplies.

You will supervise support level employees, set daily objectives, ensure policy adherence, and coordinate shipping and receiving to optimize space and workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; four-year degree not required but preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of functional experience with at least 3 years in a relevant role and 1 year of leadership.
• Experience supervising support level employees (clerks, technicians, associates).
• Ability to set day-to-day operational objectives and ensure task completion.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administers and operates the organization’s warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Audits goods received into warehouse and accounts for all materials and supplies.
• Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting.
• Prepares and coordinates shipping/receiving schedules to control flow of goods and optimize space.
• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization and facilities upkeep.

Position Summary:

• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

• Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports and stakeholders.
• Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to moderate level of control and review.
• Supervises support level associates (clerks, production associates, technicians) in an organization characterized by high transactions or processes.
• Sets day-to-day operational objectives for the team to ensure task completion.
• Assignments are largely established in accordance with schedules and deliverables.
• Contributes to the development of processes and procedures and ensure that employees operate within these guidelines.
• Can make exceptions to some but not all processes and procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of department processes.
• Point person to resolve issues elevated by support personnel.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required. Four year college degree not required but strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 3 years specific experience and 1 year of leadership experience.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $63,100.00 - $101,000.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
