Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support efficient warehouse operations—ensuring materials, inventory, and freight are handled, processed, and delivered accurately and on time.

You will safely move, inspect, and prepare crates, receive and organize stock, and maintain the purchase-order system, while upholding safety and quality standards across daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Approximately 3 years of general experience or 2 years in related functions.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory control, or logistics preferred.
  • Apply company policies and job knowledge to complete responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently with guidance as needed.
  • Detail-oriented and able to process inventory, shipping, receiving, and purchasing documentation clearly.
  • Communicate information clearly and explain issues when they arise.
  • Comfortable working under moderate supervision and adjusting to priorities.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, accuracy, productivity, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Safely handle, move, load, and unload materials manually or with equipment.
  • Open, inspect, seal, and prepare crates, boxes, cartons, and containers.
  • Receive, sort, store, organize and distribute materials throughout the facility.
  • Process material requisitions and dispense stock items accurately.
  • Support inventory control activities, including stock counts and rotation.
  • Process incoming and outgoing freight per policies and standards.
  • Ensure merchandise is stocked and available for timely delivery.
  • Maintain and update the purchase order system as shipments are received or back-ordered.
  • Complete and process inventory-related documentation accurately and timely.
  • Communicate discrepancies, shortages, back orders to management.
  • Assist with kit/bundle breakdown, component sorting, and other warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.

Position Summary

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an important role in supporting efficient warehouse operations by ensuring materials, inventory, and freight are handled, processed, and delivered accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do
  • Safely handle, move, load, and unload materials manually or using various material handling equipment.
  • Open, inspect, seal, and prepare crates, boxes, cartons, and other containers for processing or shipment.
  • Receive, sort, store, organize and distribute materials throughout the facility.
  • Process material requisitions and dispense stock items accurately and efficiently.
  • Support inventory control activities, including stock counts, organization, and stock rotation.
  • Process incoming and outgoing freight in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and available for timely delivery or distribution.
  • Maintain and update the purchase order system as shipments are received, cancelled, or placed on back order.
  • Complete and process inventory‑related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies, shortages, back orders, and other issues to management.
  • Assist with kit and bundle breakdown, component sorting, and other warehouse processing activities as needed.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
What You Bring to the Role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or two‑year degree preferred.
  • Approximately 3 years of general experience or 2 years of relevant functional experience.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory control, or logistics preferred.
  • Ability to apply established company policies, procedures, and job knowledge to complete assigned responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage routine assignments independently while recognizing when additional guidance is needed.
  • Strong detail to detail and accurately process inventory, shipping, receiving, and purchasing documentation.
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and provide appropriate explanations when issues or exceptions arise.
  • Comfortable working under moderate supervision and seeking guidance from experienced team members when needed.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and make appropriate adjustments to established work methods.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, accuracy, productivity, and operational excellence.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $33,300.00 - $50,000.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; The applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan.

Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties / requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long‑term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
