Job summary

Hallmark is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Supply Chain to lead up to 35 employees at our Kansas Manufacturing facility in Lawrence, KS. The role focuses on directing work, achieving productivity, and meeting cost targets on the 2nd shift (Fri-Mon, 7:30 am–5:30 pm).

Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement through PDCA/A3 tools, mentoring the team, and coordinating with leadership to satisfy customer expectations. Relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years supervising direct reports; OR Associate’s degree or higher.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering or production operations preferred.
• Experience managing direct reports in manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience with equipment and/or building maintenance.
• Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead up to 35 Hallmark employees, directing and coordinating scheduling and assignment of work.
• Drive productivity, serviceability, quality and cost targets in the assigned area.
• Use PDCA/A3 tools with leadership team and operators for cost reduction.
• Provide direction and support to team to achieve goals and company objectives.
• Occasional weekend work may be required on a 2nd shift (Fri-Mon).
