Job Overview

Bombardier, a global leader in aviation, is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 3rd Shift at the Wichita Service/Completion Center. This role involves supervising aircraft maintenance employees, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with regulations, and fostering a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise aircraft maintenance operations, including safety, schedules, personnel, and quality.
2. Promote a safe work environment through supervision of safety/security programs.
3. Manage performance, development, hiring, dismissals, and daily meetings.
4. Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with FARs and Repair Station regulations.
5. Ensure safety and facilities standards are met and report deficiencies.
6. Engage with customers regarding aircraft maintenance as needed.
7. Identify best practices and champion continuous improvement.
8. Manage database and reporting to optimize labor efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Leadership experience; aircraft maintenance leadership preferred.
• Possession of an A&P certificate or certification under FAR part 65.
• Familiarity with aircraft inspection systems, procedures, and EHS regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, organizational, and planning skills.
