Job summary

Arconic is seeking an Operations Leader for our Kawneer business in Visalia, CA. You will report to the Plant Manager and manage a team of 20+ employees across Material Handling, Shipping/Receiving, and Boxing to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent Kawneer experience with at least 5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience and a strong background in lean and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or internal Kawneer manufacturing experience as department lead.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Arconic is currently seeking an Operations Leader to join our Kawneer business in Visalia, CA. Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Operations Leader will manage a team of 20+ employees and be accountable for the Material Handling, Shipping/Receiving, and Boxing teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or (internal) 10 years of Kawneer manufacturing experience as a department lead.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPS, 5S, or Black Belt methodologies.
• Experience leading Material Handling, Shipping/Receiving, Warehousing, Logistics, or Manufacturing operations.
