Job summary

Arconic Corporation is seeking an Operations Leader to manage the Kawneer team in Visalia, CA. You will oversee Material Handling, Shipping, Receiving, and Boxing, ensuring safe operations and on-time production.

You will champion safety, lead continuous improvement, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate with Quality to address defects while aligning with plant objectives and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years Kawneer manufacturing experience as a department lead.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and proper material handling practices.
• Lead 5S initiatives across Material Handling, Shipping/Receiving, and Boxing.
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free from debris.
• Implement and maintain company policies to improve safety and productivity.
• Manage departmental goals (IFE, TRR, DART, OEE, Inventory, Quality).
• Foster employee engagement and continuous improvement; conduct performance reviews.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving to improve operations.
• Coordinate with Quality to investigate scrap, customer complaints, and defects.
