Job summary

Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Supervisor in Tanner, AL. You will supervise Repack Leads, oversee weld repackaging, and help manage daily workflow and safety.

Responsibilities include production planning with the Operations Manager, maintaining inventory accuracy, reporting KPIs, resolving conflicts, and driving process improvements to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years supervisory or management experience in warehousing, distribution, or transportation environment.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and guidance to Repack Leads, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
• Oversee the daily workflow of weld repackaging and material handling to ensure efficient and timely operations.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement production schedules for repackaging targets.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain up-to-date records for all weld-related materials.
• Enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and conduct regular safety training for all warehouse staff.
• Address and resolve conflicts among team members promptly and effectively.
• Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on KPIs, including throughput and safety metrics.
• Identify bottlenecks in the repackaging process and implement changes to enhance productivity.

Our operation is based in Tanner, AL and supports Polaris in the area. We manage and operate a warehouse facility providing pick and pack, sequencing, and inventory management support.

Shifts Available:

2nd Shift: Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Team Leadership & Management: Provide direct supervision and guidance to Repack Leads, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily workflow of weld repackaging and material handling to ensure efficient and timely operations.
• Production Planning: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement production schedules specifically for repackaging targets.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• 0-5 years supervisory or management experience in a warehousing, distribution or transportation environment
