Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Sanford, NC site. You will lead the production team to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash while developing talent and maintaining a safe, efficient workplace.

The role requires 2+ years of manufacturing supervision or 8+ years in a similar capacity, and a bachelor’s degree. English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus. Base pay ranges from $61,200 to $113,600 annually with additional incentive potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of supervisory experience OR a minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be a hands‑on leader.
• Learn Manufacturing knowledge and implementation experience.
• Personnel management.
• High energy and the ability to motivate and influence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and ergonomic work environment for the team and encourage suggestions, actions, and ownership for improvement.
• Ensure process and product quality through adherence to standard work and related documents/procedures.
• Train the team and improve flow within cells to meet customer demand.
• Staffing requirements that meet established goals/line rates.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through depletion/replenishment systems and cycle counting.
• Coach and mentor team members for career/talent development.
• Foster a WIN RIGHT culture and compliance with Pentair policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We have an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our Sanford, NC team. You will be responsible for overall performance and lead the production team to continuously improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash, while also ensuring talent development of the team.

• Ensure process and product quality through the adherence to standard work and other related documents/procedures.
• Be responsible for training the team and improving flow within the cells to ensure that customer demand is met.
• Be responsible for staffing requirements that meet the established goals/line rates.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through established depletion/replenishment systems and cycle counting processes.
• Be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of team members for career/talent development.
• Be responsible for ensuring that the team operates with a WIN RIGHT mentality and operates within the policies and procedures of Pentair.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of supervisory experience OR a minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
