Job summary

Commercial Metals (CMC) offers an excellent opportunity to learn the steel, construction reinforcement and ground stabilization industries. In this role you may supervise plant activities, operate equipment, and collaborate with operations leadership to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plant activities including shipping, receiving, operations, safety and environmental.
• Assist in controlling inventory dollars and tons to meet turnover standards.
• Help maintain accurate inventory with no losses due to fraud or poor practices.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Plant Manager to meet plant goals.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance across the plant.

What You'll Do

• Supervises activities of Plant including shipping, receiving, operations, safety and environmental
• Assists in the control of inventory dollars and tons by meeting inventory turn standards set forth by the company
• Assists Operations Manager in maintaining an accurate inventory with no losses due to fraud, poor quality control, poor operational or accounting practices
• Must collaborate with Operations Manager and Plant Manager to ensure successful accomplishment of plant goals
• Must be able to maintain and be familiar with safety and environmental concerns

Your Education
