Randstad USA in Manchester, PA is seeking a Packaging Operations Supervisor to lead the production floor, optimize efficiency, and develop a high‑performing team.

You will own the floor, apply Lean manufacturing to reduce bottlenecks, supervise and train staff, forecast workload, and coordinate scheduling. 1st shift is Tue–Fri, 3:30 AM–2:30 PM, with a salary range of $62,500–$70,000 and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401k, and generous PTO.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Efficiency: Apply Lean manufacturing principles to identify process bottlenecks, troubleshoot production issues, and maximize quality and productivity.
• Manage Planning & Resources: Lead volume forecasting, daily workload planning, and staffing strategies to optimize resources and minimize unplanned overtime.
• Ensure Compliance & Accuracy: Oversee inventory management (receiving/picking/shipping) and ensure precise execution of customer and vendor contract requirements.
• Communicate & Collaborate: Facilitate effective pre-shift meetings and shift hand-offs while partnering with regional sites to share best practices and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in packaging or manufacturing operations.
• Experienced supervisory background.
• High School education required.
