Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a warehouse supervisor for the third shift (9:00 PM–6:00 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night) to manage inventory and material flow and act as a daily customer liaison.

The role requires a degree preferred, strong communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office), problem solving and multitasking, and a drive for career growth within a growing organization; a competitive salary and benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• 0-5 years supervisory or management experience in warehousing, distribution or transportation.

Responsibilities

• Management of inventory and material flow.
• Quality and safety compliance management involving company policies and procedures.
• Interacting with the customer on a daily basis, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Various reports related to production, quality, safety, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies.
• Act as a liaison between the company and customers forming and maintaining positive relationships.
• Other tasks delegated by the customer and/or General Manager.
