Job summary

A Great Company is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead a second-shift warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation operations. You will coordinate people and resources, uphold safety and quality standards, and ensure rental inventory and customer deliveries are accurate and on time.

Responsibilities include directing daily routing, supervising staff, monitoring productivity, training team members, and ensuring compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in warehouse/logistics.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Transportation, routing, cross-dock, or distribution experience preferred.

• Assign and direct employees to meet warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation goals.
• Monitor staffing, workflow, labor, and resources to meet customer commitments and budget targets.
• Train, coach, and develop team members with a focus on safety, quality, attendance, and productivity.
• Coordinate daily routing and oversee inbound/outbound transportation for safe, on-time deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and other regulations and review driver paperwork.

Position Overview

We're seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead second-shift warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation activities. You'll coordinate people and resources, uphold safety and quality standards, and help ensure rental inventory and customer deliveries are handled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the cleaning, picking, packing, repair, processing, and staging of rental inventory in line with company standards and procedures.
• Assign and direct employees to meet warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation goals.
• Monitor staffing, workflow, labor, and resources to meet customer commitments and budget targets.
• Train, coach, and develop team members while reinforcing expectations for safety, quality, attendance, and productivity.
• Coordinate daily routing and oversee inbound and outbound transportation to support safe, efficient, on-time deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable DOT, OSHA, and other regulations.
• Review driver paperwork, routing documents, and transportation records for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead daily transportation and cross-dock meetings to share priorities, updates, and operational challenges.
• Resolve operational issues in partnership with Customer Service and other departments.
• Oversee yard activity, including trailer movement, vehicle staging, equipment use, and material handling.
• Assist with facility operations, housekeeping, and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, distribution, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Transportation, routing, cross-dock, or distribution experience strongly preferred.
• Associate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Hands-on leadership approach with strong team-building and employee-development skills.
