Dallas Lite & Barricade, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee all operational functions for the company across the Dallas area, including yard and field activities.

You will manage insurance claims, customer issues, and third-party complaints while guiding both Operations and Administrative functions at the assigned location. Qualifications

High school diploma; some college preferred.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the traffic control industry OSHA 30-hour certification.
Management/leadership training and experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee or direct involvement in all departments/functions within the operations team both in the yard and the field.
Hire, oversee, direct and manage the inside sales team.
Handle all safety issues/meetings for the Dallas location.
Handle all customer and Company complaints.
Hire all operational team members.
Handle all disciplinary actions for Operations team members.
Assist HR as needed with unemployment claims.
Participate as a committee member in the American Traffic Safety & Services Association (ATSSA) and attend yearly and bi-yearly meetings.
Ensure all small needs are met for job completions in the field including concrete, hand tools, etc Meet with vendors to negotiate quantities and pricing
Participate in all industry trade shows representing the Company.
Work with the Estimating team on large quotes for jobs, TXDOT quotes for lane closure contracts, and custom build quotes.
Provide training to employees on new products.

SCOPE OF JOB

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all operational functions for the Company and ensuring consistent and safe delivery of products and services. In addition, the incumbent oversees all insurance claims, customer issues, and third‑party complaints. The Operations Supervisor oversees both Operations and Administrative functions for the assigned location.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma; some college preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Light industrial work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move, transport, install, and remove objects.

Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine, computer printer etc

Visual acuity is constantly required to operate machines, equipment, and/or motor vehicles, perform mechanical or skilled trade tasks, and ensure the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.

Constantly communicates with customers and employees. Must be able to exchange accurate information verbally and in writing.

Frequently subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions with no effective protection from the weather.

Occasionally subject to hazards that may include a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat exposure to chemicals, and/or functioning in narrow aisles or passageways.
