Purpose:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day Distribution Center operations by providing direct frontline leadership, coordinating workflow across departments, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of product throughout the facility. • Operate across the DC, Customer service, and delivery as operation needs
  • Serve as the critical link between the Operations Manager, Department Managers, and Associates, translating daily priorities and facility-wide goals into clear direction on the floor
  • Assign daily work and task allocation to associates based on volume, staffing, and business priorities, adjusting in real time to meet production and service commitments
  • Monitor productivity, throughput, and quality throughout the shift; identify bottlenecks and reallocate labor or resources to keep product moving in and out on schedule
  • Lead daily team huddles to communicate priorities, safety topics, and performance expectations
  • Coach, train, and cross-train associates on processes, equipment, and quality standards; support onboarding of new hires
  • Conduct performance check-ins, provide real-time feedback, and document attendance, conduct, and performance issues
  • Perform quality control checks and daily audits to ensure products are received, prepped, assembled, repaired, staged, or delivered to company standards
  • Enforce all safety protocols and PPE requirements; complete safety audits and immediately address unsafe conditions or behaviors
  • Ensure proper use, care, and daily inspection of warehouse equipment including RF scan guns, powered industrial equipment, hand trucks, and tablets
  • Track and support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, spot checks, and timely reporting of discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area consistent with 5S and company housekeeping standards
  • Escalate order, inventory, staffing, or customer issues to the Operations Manager with recommended solutions rather than surface‑level reporting
  • Partner with leaders across operational departments to coordinate workflows, ensure seamless handoffs, and maintain efficient end‑to‑end product flow throughout the facility

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑functional operations
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
  • Comfortable navigating warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanning technology, and basic reporting tools
  • Safety‑first mindset with working knowledge of OSHA regulations and powered industrial equipment operation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting workloads simultaneously
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills for coaching associates and reporting to leadership

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or similar frontline leadership role
  • 3-5 years of experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated success coaching and developing associates preferred
