Job summary

Savage is seeking an Evening Operations Supervisor at our Utah Crude operation in Elko, NV. You will support the Operations Manager and team by helping them achieve their goals on time, including hands-on work in material transport, maintenance, administrative tasks, and leading projects.

We value a candidate with 1+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting, a CDL Class A, and a readiness to relocate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A license with driving experience.
• 1+ years supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to relocate and support 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a working supervisor, assisting with daily operations (including driving a truck when needed).
• Shift starts at 4 pm, including weekend shifts as needed.
• Provide day-to-day support to operators and delegate tasks based on team skills.
• Ensure effective communication with team and inform the Operations Manager of progress and deficiencies.
• Contribute to S7 initiatives, especially SH&E and Customer sections, following procedures and STOP WORK OBLIGATION.
• Work with site management to deliver safe, efficient customer service and meet expectations.
• Use Savage Operating Systems to manage logistics, team development, and scheduling.
• Lead training for new hires and oversee required training.
• Attend Safety Specialist meetings, visit customer sites to strengthen relationships, and submit paperwork post-shift.
• Responsibilities may evolve based on company needs.

What you'll need:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• College degree a plus
• 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in an industrial setting
• Willingness to relocate
• CDL Class A required, with driving experience
• This is a 24/7 operation, with on-call availability
• Commitment to working safely at all times

Physical Requirements of this role:

• Climb on and off trucks safely
• Consistently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and climb frequently
• Work, walk, and stand on uneven surfaces
• Occasionally lift to 75 lbs
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Operate basic hand tools
• Wear required PPE
