Job summary

Generac is seeking an Operations Strategy & Transformation Intern for Summer 2027 at our Waukesha, WI campus. You will support strategic planning, workshops, and project execution across Operations and adjacent functions, gaining exposure to senior leaders.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience in transformation tools, governance, and cross-functional collaboration, with duties spanning scheduling, documentation, SharePoint and Smartsheet hubs, and leadership-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree (preferred in Business Management, Supply Chain or related).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of strategic planning workshops across multiple functions.
• Coordinate workshop logistics and follow-up, prepare materials and communications.
• Develop and maintain strategic initiative documents and leadership-ready materials.
• Support project management tools, trackers, dashboards, and documentation.
• Assist with SharePoint/Smartsheet-based hubs to improve visibility across initiatives.
