Job summary

RTX is hiring an Operation’s Staff Technician (T4) in Goleta, CA. This onsite role supports focal plane operations, training, hardware processing, and factory readiness in a security-sensitive environment.

The candidate will work with area leads to drive continuous improvement, expand certifications across work cells, and coordinate EWOs/LWOs for quick turnaround while ensuring safe, compliant production flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• US Citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.
• AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) is typically required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure test structures and equipment per engineering specs.
• Serve as a technical resource for operators, engineers, and support organizations.
• Monitor test processes and record data for analysis and reporting.
