The salary range for this role is $45,000 to $63,000, based on experience and market conditions. The role may also include an annual discretionary incentive. SMBC MANUBANK offers a competitive benefits portfolio.

Summary

This position supports the operational needs of the bank’s collections function, including technical writing, audit execution, and collection performance optimization. Ideal candidates have experience in Loan Servicing or Default Management, especially with unsecured debt.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage timely delivery of KPIs and KRIs.
• Contribute to roadmap initiatives through detailed business requirements, process flows, procedures, and communications.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the Risk Control Self-Assessment.
• Implement controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Lead meetings to address control failures and establish action plans.
• Ensure audit readiness.
• Develop and maintain procedures and user guides.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert for assigned functions.
• Monitor SLA adherence.
• Support and escalate bank operations tickets.

Position Specifications

• College degree preferred or relevant experience.
• At least 1 year experience in Loss Mitigation, Default Management, or Customer Service/Back-Office.
• Knowledge of banking documentation, core systems, operations, and audits.
• Strong organizational and technical writing skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks timely.
