We are a family-owned company serving the automotive and industrial manufacturing industries since 1977! We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team! This position plays a critical role in supporting our supply chain by analyzing inventory, maintaining system data, coordinating purchasing and logistics activities, and helping ensure our operations run efficiently.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory levels, demand trends, and historical usage to support purchasing and replenishment decisions
- Create, maintain, and expedite purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers
- Monitor supplier lead times and communicate potential shortages or delays to internal teams
- Coordinate inbound shipments with suppliers and freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of inventory
- Analyze and maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and supplier information within our AS400 ERP system
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to improve inventory accuracy
- Assist with forecasting activities by reviewing inventory movement and demand patterns
- Partner across multiple departments to support day-to-day operational activities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, improve data accuracy, and strengthen supply chain performance

- Previous experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, inventory management, manufacturing operations, or a related field (preferred, but will train)
- Experience with ERP systems (preferred, but will train)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
Starting Salary:
$50,000 - $60,000 annually, with flexibility based on experience and qualifications.
