The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Training is provided for firearm-related tasks and compliance procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of retail, inventory, or operations experience.
  • Working knowledge of inventory systems and POS platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Merchandising Execution: maintain visual standards, pricing, promotions, signage.
  • Receiving & Inventory Control: process incoming inventory, ensure accuracy, audit-ready areas.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Support: assist with ATF, OSHA policies and 4473 reviews.
  • Customer Order & Service Support: manage e-commerce orders, layaways, and repairs.
  • Operational Support: support leadership, case audits, and overall safe store operations.

This role ensures product availability, pricing accuracy, and adherence to all federal, state, and local firearm regulations, while maintaining organized and efficient backroom and administrative operations. Working closely with store leadership, this position drives operational excellence across receiving, inventory control, compliance tracking, and customer order fulfillment.Core values alignment:Curious — ask questions, find and solve problemsPassionate — care deeply about the brand, team, and customersDo it Right — take pride in accuracy and credibilityService — put others above ourselvesKey responsibilitiesInventory & Merchandising Execution:Support store sales by maintaining visual standards in the store, to include merchandise presentation, pricing, promotions, and signage.Maintain visual and merchandising standards across the sales floorConduct inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure accuracyMonitor and resolve out-of-stock conditions and inventory discrepanciesReceiving & Inventory Control:Receive and process all incoming inventory, including firearms, transfers, and e-commerce orders, in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready receiving areaProcess inventory adjustments and goods issues to ensure proper system accuracyExecute weekly and monthly reporting, including negative inventory and margin reportsCompliance & Regulatory Support:Support compliance with all ATF, OSHA, and internal safety policies and proceduresPerform compliance checks including 4473 form reviews, bound book management, for documentation accuracy and compliance trackerAssist with audits, corrections, and required customer follow-upCustomer Order & Service Support:Manage e-commerce orders and layaways, ensuring timely processing and customer communicationSupport firearm service and repair programs, including tracking, parts coordination, and follow-upEnsure all customer transactions related to layaway and ecommerce are completed timelyOperational Support:Partner with leadership to maintain appropriate supply levels (targets, PPE, office supplies, ATF forms)Conduct case audits to ensure proper representation of in-stock firearmsSupport overall store operations to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing environmentDesired skills & experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required2+ years of retail, inventory, or operations experience (specialty retail preferred)Working knowledge of inventory systems and POS platformsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and complianceEffective communication and organizational skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysEmployee benefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision health insuranceUnlimited Shooting – Free ClassesIndustry-leading online and in-store discountsManufacturer rewards and points programNo firearm experience needed — we offer paid training
