Job summary

The Restaurant Store seeks an Operations Specialist to assist the Product Lifecycle Manager with daily material handling in a retail branch. You will manage receiving, stocking, and presentation to align with sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory goals.

Key duties include efficient stock put-away, FIFO rotation, keeping areas neat, and communicating with merchandising and inventory teams. Prior forklift certification is a plus; comprehensive training supports career growth in a

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail, warehouses, restaurants, grocery, or other related hospitality fields.
  • Prior forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment.
  • Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with the Merchandising and Inventory teams to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch.
  • Communicate effectively with the Product Lifecycle Manager to address any operational issues.
  • Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store.

Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail, warehouses, restaurants, grocery, or other related hospitality fields.
  • Prior forklift certification a plus
