George Thomas Executive Search has partnered with a leading US Power Generation Company. They are currently looking to expand their Engineering and Maintenance team by adding a new Shift Supervisor.

About the Role:

As a Shift Supervisor, you will oversee safe and efficient operations within the plant. You will lead a team of 15-25 technicians on a rotating schedule. The role reports to the Plant Operations Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety protocols
Approve maintenance requests and issue safety permits
Maintain environmental compliance and lead emergency response efforts
Supervise routine checks and housekeeping tasks
Maximize operational performance and troubleshoot plant issues
Coordinate maintenance schedules and lead projects
Train and develop a skilled workforce
Maintain required licenses and certifications

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing; Power or Resource Recovery preferred
Hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers and electric generation equipment
Must possess a Massachusetts Second Class Engineer’s License
