Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

We are seeking a results-driven Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations at our Pittsburgh, PA facility. This role is responsible for driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement while providing technical expertise and leadership to maintenance associates and cross-functional teams. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will oversee equipment reliability, facility upkeep, preventive maintenance, and capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety as a core value; partner with EHS leaders to proactively identify and resolve safety concerns.
• Lead and engage the maintenance team in daily safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture across the plant.
• Support the maintenance manager in ensuring full regulatory compliance and maintaining all equipment in excellent operating condition.
• Oversee maintenance of all systems and production equipment to ensure seamless operations and support distribution.
• Lead planning and execution of maintenance activities during plant shutdowns and other scheduled downtime.
• Collaborate with Production Control and Manufacturing to align maintenance plans with operational goals.
• Evaluate and recommend capital investments; manage medium-scale capital and plant expansion projects as Project Manager.
• Identify training needs and opportunities for upskilling; help transform the team into a multi-skilled, flexible workforce.
• Promote Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to continuously improve maintenance operations and resolve issues in real time.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of plant-based maintenance/reliability position
• Desiring refractory experience involving furnaces, kilns, incinerators, or reactors.
