Job summary

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. seeks an Operations Shift Breaker to provide flexible coverage for operating posts and, after appropriate training, to step into Shift Supervisor duties during absences.

The role emphasizes broad operational knowledge, sound judgment, and leadership while meeting refinery safety, environmental, and quality standards. A 12‑month probationary period applies to complete unit certifications and gain supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain required unit certifications.
• Ability to train and develop leadership skills under supervision.
• Demonstrated judgment and ability to lead during shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for operating posts in which certified, including vacations and cross-training assignments.
• Assist in supervising shift personnel and coordinating responses to operational issues.
• Train and mentor operations personnel in duties, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Support safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards in daily operations and during turnarounds.
