Job summary

DK Security is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager in Michigan to lead contracts, oversee security staffing, and support business development initiatives. You will supervise contract and temporary assignments and help the Operations team meet client demands in Southeast Michigan.

The role emphasizes scheduling, payroll understanding, and on-site coordination, with mentorship and growth toward an Operations Manager position within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Must pass a drug test at hire and random tests.
• 1 year of security officer or supervisor experience desirable.
• Must possess or obtain a CPL within 90 days of hire.
• Professional image and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduling support for all contract or temporary security assignments.
• Assist Operations Managers with overall management of temporary security assignments.
• Participate in company payroll processes and payroll for assignments.
• Conduct weekly afterhours site visits and report findings.
• Support uniform and equipment delivery and site visits.
• Be trained as a Uniform Security Officer at multiple locations in SE Michigan.
