Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a highly skilled data/AI professional to advance supply chain analytics and optimization for global clients. You will join multidisciplinary teams to design and implement AI-enabled solutions that scale across industries, using Kedro, PySpark, and modern data stacks.

You will tackle end-to-end challenges from modeling and experimentation to deployment and client adoption, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and product managers.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required for defense/critical industries
• Bachelor, Master or PhD in CS/ML/Statistics/Engineering/AI
• 5+ years in operations research/optimization or related data science work
• Programming experience in Python, C++, Java
• Proven application of operations research methods in the commercial world
• Knowledge of software development tools (CI/CD, version control)
• Understanding of supply chain concepts: planning, scheduling, network design, logistics
• Experience in NLP or generative AI desirable
• Proficiency with Kedro, PySpark, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure
• Willingness to travel
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work in multidisciplinary teams to build AI/analytics products and technologies
• Contribute across product teams on agentic AI systems and platforms
• Apply operations research methods to client supply chain challenges
• Develop scalable enterprise solutions and present results to client leadership
• Collaborate with client teams on implementation and adoption
• Travel as required
