Protolabs in Plymouth, MN is seeking an onsite Operations Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects from planning through delivery. This role requires coordinating internal teams and client communications to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.

You will drive work plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple client projects while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and reporting progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong Organizational Skills.
• Strong written communication, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to bring project to successful completion.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and deliver project activities through the entire project life cycle.
• Creates and executes work plans for projects of moderate scope and complexity.
• Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Partner with internal team members to manage and execute multiple client projects.
• Be the point of contact for customers (internal and external) to reach out to with any questions.
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to responsible parties.
• Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in an expedient fashion.
• Reviews project deliverables prepared by team for clients.
• Enhances lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Continuously leverage relationships with key team members and stakeholders to support business needs.
• Lead by example and foster collaboration and commitment to teamwork.
• Be a trusted partner to key team members, driving transparency and clarity.
• Communicate project statuses and milestone dates to all stakeholders.
• Interact professionally with designers, engineers, production personnel, and customers.
• Coordinate with internal project team (engineering, manufacturing, quality) for planning and execution.
• Coordinate with client’s team to meet schedule objectives and ensure positive experience.
• Conduct post-mortem reviews and lessons learned for future projects.
• Report non-conformances and initiate internal quality cases as necessary.
• Facilitate resources needed to reach project goals and manage resources efficiently.
• Perform kick-off and project completion calls with customers and staff.
