Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in related field. Preferred prior experience in engineering project management.
• Must possess project managerial skills combined with technical understanding along with a working knowledge of planning, budgets, and financial analysis.
• Must have a working design knowledge of Milwaukee products and ability to conduct detailed analyses.
• Must understand statistical analysis and reliability applications to products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office; travel 25-35%.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to development of new product process strategies, plans and improvement initiatives.
• Provides leadership over complex and high priority projects; guides engineers and team members.
• Responsible for completion of projects within budget and scheduling guidelines; prepares budgets and forecasts.
• Communicates project status to engineers and non-engineers in multiple locations.
• Drive design of project to meet cost, timing, reliability, and high-volume manufacturing requirements.
• Analyze, evaluate and select from operational or design options to meet specifications and implement designs into mass production.
• Accountable for technical elements of project execution including component integration, material selection, packaging and safety, and compliance with standards.
• Comply with METCo procedures for new product development and design output; maintain project flow.
