Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking an Operations Project Engineer 2 to lead industrialization efforts from design release through production readiness and launch. You will coordinate with NPD, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time, within-spec deliveries.

The role requires strong project management, ERP data experience, and excellent communication across engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrialization, or project management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage schedules and risks, and drive actions to completion.
• Experience with ERP data management, BOMs, routings, and labor standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialization projects from design release through production readiness and launch.
• Coordinate with NPD, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Develop integrated project schedules, risk logs, and readiness checklists.
• Translate priority changes into updated schedules and plans.
• Provide status updates and escalation as needed.
