Xcel Energy is seeking an Operations Planner Team Lead to serve as a subject matter expert and team leader for planning, scheduling, and coordinating operational work across multiple regions. You will oversee multi-week scheduling, drive resource optimization, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 years in construction, design, maintenance, or operations (utility experience preferred).
• Strong scheduling, planning, and operational coordination experience in utilities or construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rolling 0–12+ week schedule development for regions or commodity areas.
• Coordinate permits, locates, traffic control, vegetation management and ensure prerequisites are met.
• Mentor and train planners, set performance standards, and lead process improvements.
