General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Operations Planner & Configuration Manager to support the USAF Base Infrastructure Modernization contract at Eielson AFB, Alaska. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining configuration management processes, and coordinating with government counterparts to ensure CMP alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• 5+ years of related experience in configuration management and operations planning.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to brief leadership and collaborate with remote teams.
• Experience with DoW planning tools, ITIL foundation, ITSM processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain configuration management processes, tools, and infrastructure in alignment with the PWS.
• Support the development of the Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
• Develop and use the CMDB and seek approval from government counterpart before changes per CMP.
